The cruise begins every friday from October to May.

Upon arrival at Osvaldo Viera airport, you will be met and guided through the airport formalities and then your coach will take you to the Africa Queen moored in Bissau harbour.
Welcome drink and meeting with the captain and his crew. Dinner on board and after the 2 hours crossing to the Bijagos, you will be cruising in calm clear seas protected by the islands at all times.

The evening before each day’s landfall, the guides detail exactly what can be expected to be seen the day after.  

Non anglers will have a selection of eco tours, village visits, nature walks, beach barbecues or just plain sunbathing and swimming trips to choose from throughout the week.

There are generally two landfalls to different sites each day, one in the morning and the second after lunch.

Anglers will early start for fishing.
